Week 2 of the 2021-22 NFL season already came and went, and Week 3 kicks off tonight in Houston with a matchup between The Panthers and The Texans. I won’t have my full Week 3 Picks blog up until tomorrow, but in case you’re wondering, I’m going with The Texans +10.5 tonight

But before we completely move on to Week 3, I still need to recap Week 2. I came into Week 2 with an 8-8 record on the season so far, and I was really hoping I could string together more wins than losses last week and end up sitting pretty with a positive season record. Was I able to get the job done? Let’s take a look at how I did in Week 2

When all was said and done, I ended up going 6-9-1 in Week 2. Ouch. Not the results I wanted, but as I’ve said before, I’ve had worse weeks. Plus, it’s still very early in the season so I haven’t mashed the panic button quite yet. Still, cue the music

I know I keep saying I like to recap my losses, as I’ve done in the past, but I was a little “under the weather” from alcohol consumption on Sunday and fell asleep on the couch, missing a lot of games. In the interest of time, I’m gonna skip the recaps again this week. I’ll try to actually take notes next Sunday and do it right after the games so they’re fresh in my head, but knowing my laziness, who knows

Lastly, let’s take a look at my Why Not Teaser from Week 2. Shockingly, it didn’t win yet again, and it happened in horrible fashion

I thought I had it this time, I really did. The fucking Seahawks man. Up 24-9 at halftime, and then Derrick Henry came out and SCORCHED them. They got outscored 24-6 in the 2nd half and OT. Not great. Not great at all 🖕
