NFL Betting Results (Week 4)

Coming into Week 4, I admitted I was shook. I hated the board when I first looked at it and even more when it came time to actually make my picks, and I spent most is last Saturday second guessing myself and going back and forth on who I was taking in each game

So did all of that second guessing screw me over or did it benefit me? Let’s take a look at how I did in Week 4

The streak continues folks, and I ended up going as season best 10-5 in Week 4. Cue the Drama GIF!

My feelings going into Week 4 and it’s eventual outcome is such a good metaphor for my gambling ventures as a whole. Whenever I feel really good about something, it doesn’t hit. Whenever I’m nervous as hell going into something, it’s a lock. It’s a cruel joke that The Gambling Gods have been playing on me for years, and I’ve yet to find a way around it. I’ve tried a few things, such as “fading myself” AKA making a pick and then taking the opposite, but when done intentionally the original pick ends up hitting and you feel like an idiot. It’s kinda like in golf when you keep slicing the ball so you try to play the slice on your next drive, and then of course that’s the time you hit it straight. It’s a random world folks, and you just have to hope you end up on the right side of the randomness

Regardless of how I felt going in, the results are all that matters. This brings me record in the year to 35-26-2. It feels good to have a little breathing room heading into Week 5, but I need to keep the ball rolling here. It’s easy come easy go in the gambling world, and I could go 5-10 next week (or worse). That being said, it doesn’t mean I can’t ride this high while I can, and I’m feeling pretty good about this NFL season right now 💰

2020-21 NFL Record So Far: 35-26-2💰💰💰

Week 1: 8-8☑️☑️☑️

Week 2: 8-7-1✅✅✅

Week 3: 9-6-1✅✅✅

Week 4: 10-5✅✅✅
