I’m sure some of you are surprised to see me up so early this morning. Although it’s easy to assume that I’m on a bender and simply haven’t slept yet, that isn’t the case. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. I actually made the first smart decision of my entire life last night by not drinking and going to bed early for once. It’s a very rare occasion that I feel refreshed on a Sunday morning, but it feels good

Anyway, this isn’t just any other Sunday. This is the first Sunday of the 2020-21 NFL season, which can only mean one thing: It’s time for me to gamble on every game and end up either loving or hating myself by the end of the day

This will be a season unlike any other, as it’s happening during a pandemic, there was limited training camp and no preseason, there will be no fans at most games, and because there’s the possibility it could be shut down at any second (knock on wood)

All that being said, football is back so let’s skip the theatrics and get right into it: My picks for Week 1

Those are my picks and I’m sticking to em. No second guessing, just guessing, that’s what I always say. Anything can happen in Week 1, and when you factor in all of the craziness surrounding this season, it just makes it that much more unpredictable. Let’s hope I can start this season with a solid week. Probably not, but let’s hope
