Tonight’s Titans/Jags matchup at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville marks the beginning of Week 3 of the NFL season, and if you’re very in the hole like I am, it can’t come soon enough.

I’ve heard a lot of talk about how this week’s slate of games looks menacing, which was a little confusing to me because I actually felt pretty good locking in these picks. It’s that good feeling that has me a little worried, because I can’t have another repeat of Week 1.

Anyway, let’s take a look at who I’m going with for Week 3.

2 weeks into this NFL season I am 11-21 on picks, so I can only improve from here (At least I hope so).

Like I said above, I felt oddly confident about my picks this week, which has me feeling both nervous and optimistic. I’m nervous because another repeat of Week 1 would bankrupt me, but I’m optimistic because something about these picks felt right.

Something new that I’m going to start doing in these blogs is including what parlays I craft up each week. This week I made 2 serious parlays and 1 “Fuck it” parlay. In all seriousness none of them will probably hit, but it would help my bank account greatly if they did.

Parlay 1: Titans -2, Chiefs -7, Texans +3, Seahawks -4, Rams -3 (+2,626 Odds)

Parlay 2: NY Giants +7, Texans +3, Seahawks -4, 49ers -7, Rams -3 (+2,517 Odds)

And there you have it: My picks and parlays for Week 3. All there is to do now is sit back and hope I don’t lose a billion dollars again like in Week 1.
