NFL Betting Guide (WEEK 2)

If you read my Week 1 Results blog, you know that I did not have a fun time last weekend. Anybody that faded my picks from last week could have bought some beautiful beach front property with their winnings, whereas I got stuck begging for change outside of the train station (Again). Most people would give up after such a terrible week of gambling, but my mom didn’t raise a quitter. I’m back and ready to (Hopefully) make all of that money back. There’s a lot of good matchups this week with somewhat forgiving looking spreads, so let’s take a look at who I’m going with for Week 2

They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well if that’s true, you better put me in a strait jacket and throw my ass into the psych ward, because once again I am going very heavy on the favorites. Learning from past mistakes has never really been my forte, so don’t mind me while I blindly trust the favorites to cover for the second week in a row.

In all seriousness though, I do like the favorites a lot better this week than last week. There’s a lot of matchups this week where I think the edge will be homefield advantage, hence why I decided to go with teams like that where in any other instance I probably would have gone the other way. Only thing to do now is sit back and wait. I started the season at 3-12 last week, so I figured I can’t do worse than that (At least I hope so).

I’m finishing up my Draft Kings blog right now, so be on the lookout for that as well. Panthers, please stomp on The Bucs tonight and get Week 2 off to a solid start for me. Lord knows I need it.
