NFL Betting Results (DIVISIONAL ROUND)

The divisional round of the NFL playoffs came to a close last night, and as I predicted there were no upsets and all of the favorites won, which was great news for me. Well, I should say mostly great news. To explain what I mean by that, let’s first take a look at my results from this past weekend

SATURDAY

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (+5) @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-5): CHIEFS -5 FINAL SCORE 13-31 (WIN)

DALLAS COWBOYS (+7) @ LA RAMS (-7): RAMS -7 FINAL SCORE 22-30 (WIN)

SUNDAY

LA CHARGERS (+4.5) @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-4.5): PATRIOTS -5 FINAL SCORE 28-41 (WIN)

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (+9) @ NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-9): SAINTS -9 FINAL SCORE 14-20 (LOSS)

As you can see, I came so close to my 4/4 goal but got royally screwed in the Eagles/Saints game. If you didn’t watch the game, basically Will Lutz (kicker for the Saints) missed a 4th quarter field goal that would have made the score 14-23, which would have been enough to cover the spread. This especially sucked because I had multiple parlays going, including a full 4 game weekend parlay, which this miss caused me to lose. Pretty lame because I would have cashed the fuck out, but I’m surprisingly in a good mood because I still made money, mostly through the help of 2 prop bets (James White 10+ receptions and Philip Rivers throwing an interception). This has moderate success has motivated to close out the season in good fashion. My current record on the season is 123-130-1 and 4-4-1 in the playoffs. Both are pretty shitty, but I want to get as close to .500 as I can so hopefully I can go 3/3 from here on out and sit at 126-130-1 when all is said and done. We’re on to the NFC and AFC championships.
