To reiterate my above statement about Week 13: Fuck. After a few weeks of moderate success in the football betting world, this past week decided to destroy my hopes, dreams, and newly found happiness. I saw this coming though, even tweeting that rough seas were ahead.

But I knew the risk when I went with a bunch of favorites, and even though it’s mainly the player’s fault for not covering the fucking spreads, I’ll shoulder some of the blame. Going 6-10 in Week 13 puts my season record at 99-99, oddly meaning I’m exactly even on the season. Definitely not where I would prefer to be at this point in the season, but then again it beats being below .500. I just hope this doesn’t start a trend of bad weeks, because with Christmas coming up I need the money. But if I do keep losing, I guess my family and friends are getting coal this year. So, I guess to sum up my feelings about being at .500 on the year right now, this GIF nails my “optimistic” feelings
