Gambling has been the theme of the day for me blog wise so I figured I’d keep that ball rolling. Similar to the preceding Draft Kings blog, this is gonna be another recurring blog that I’ll be doing every week for the entire NFL season. Every week Vegas releases their spreads and me being the sucker I am I just can’t keep myself away. Spreads might be the greatest invention ever right behind the wheel and internet porn. I’ve been watching a lot of Sopranos lately and just came across the episode where it’s revealed that Carmine Luppertazzi is who invented shaving points. For the sake of my bets, let’s hope that the mob doesn’t have any players on their payroll this year. Keep in mind I’m basing my bets on the lines that my bookie gives me, which are usually what the games opened at, but be forewarned because they’re subject to change in this technological age we now exist in. That being said, let’s get into it.

SURVIVOR

For all of you out there that do survivor pools, my survivor pick this week is the BALTIMORE RAVENS. Assuming your survivor pool doesn’t account for point spread, Ravens beating the Bills should be a lock unless Hell freezes over.

I’m obviously hoping to go 16/16, but that’s about as likely as Magic Johnson being allowed to donate blood. Week 1 is always tough to gauge because of offseason trades and whatnot so please withhold your judgement on my betting abilities until atleast week 3 or 4. Not much else to say besides fuck it, those are my picks and lets hope those dudes in helmets cover the spreads this weekend.
