Random Rabbithole: MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge)

For any of you who lived under a rock during the mid-2000’s and don’t know what MXC is, let me put you up to speed. MXC stands for the Most Extreme Elimination Challenge and was one of the funniest shows to ever be on TV, so it’s a damn shame that it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. The show used old footage from a Japanese gameshow called “Takeshi’s Castle”, which was a popular gameshow in Japan during the 80’s. As we all know, Japanese people are fucking crazy to begin with, so the original show and it’s stunts are already funny to watch. But to make things even better, Spike TV bought the rights and dubbed over the entire show, making up ridiculous names and backstories for every contestant. It’s basically a Japanese version of Wipeout where a bunch of stoners got together and dubbed over the entire show with retarded commentary. This is one of the rare occasions where the entire show is on Youtube, which I posted below. Highly recommend smoking a bowl and drinking some beers before watching, because this show was not meant to be watched sober.
