Released in 2010, “Rad Anthem” is a dance track single by electronic group Rad Omen from their debut album “Search Party and Destroy”. The group was created by actor Peter Dante (Grandma’s Boy, The Waterboy, Mr. Deeds, Little Nicky etc.) and also contains parody rapper Dirt Nasty, DJ Troublemaker, Steven Laing, and Benji Madden. As if the song wasn’t catchy enough, the music video is fucking incredible. Dressed up as famous fast-food icons, the guys head out for a booze and drug fueled night on the town. I never thought I’d have the chance to see Ronald McDonald, The Burger King, Colonel Sanders, and Jack in the Box snorting coke and banging strippers, but thankfully this video made that possible. It even features a cameo from Nick Swardson dressed as Wendy, so just when you think the video can’t get any better, it somehow does. Whenever I’m on the fence about going out, a quick watch of this video gives me the motivation I need to get up off the couch and go get fucked up. One Halloween I’m gonna re-enact this video with a group of my friends, because staring at titties and doing unhealthy amounts of shots and blow while dressed as the mascots of popular fast-food chains is the definition of the American Dream. It’s exactly what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they made this country, and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let our Founding Fathers down.
“We’re gonna get down in the city” (Which are the only lyrics)
